This class takes you on a culinary tour of the Eastern Mediterranean through the medium of 'mezze' which are a series of snacks, bites and mixed food that are celebrated across the region. We will incorporate the best dishes from right across Northern Greece, Turkey, the Balkans and into the Middle East. You will be introduced to new ingredients, new spices and flavour combinations. Everything will be prepared from scratch in a demo format with Erica's trademark flare and tips on presentation Price includes a glass of prosecco on arrival, your recipe packs and a full tasting menu, so please arrive hungry!
About your host
Erica Drum is a private Chef, cookery tutor, food stylist, caterer and hosts pop-up supper clubs in her Dublin home. Erica has worked in the hospitality industry for over 18 years. She loves to make dishes packed with flavour and local ingredients. Her ability to explain and teach culinary skill, flavour, taste and individuality is encouraging and bright. She is a huge advocate for stoping food waste, sustainable cooking, growing your own and loves to give tips and tricks. Erica cooks using her own homegrown produce where available. She also forages and is a big advocate of seasonal cooking using the best of Irish produce.
